27 tennis, 11 padel courts, and an exceptionally professional environment. These are all that UP Padel & Tennis Cornellà has to offer and much more.
For the last two decades, I've been visiting tennis clubs all around the world. It became one of my hobbies. Last weekend I played a competition in Cornellà, so I was more than happy to examine this huge venue.

Home of the Catalan Tennis Federation: all expectations are met
Last Saturday I woke up really excited not only because I was about to play a tournament match but also because I had the chance to discover a new tennis club in Barcelona. The competition was rather serious: mostly U18 players came to grab some valuable points for their ranking. Almost 40 courts for racket-sports-lovers... WOW!
UP Cornellà is an official center of the Catalan Tennis Federation. Honestly, you can sense that. The venue is huge and there's all that a pro (or an amateur) player needs in order to improve their tennis: there are almost 40 courts (incl. tennis and padel) both indoor and outdoor, clay and hard court (green-set). They're all in a good shape which allows Cornellà to organize international competitions too.
Don't worry if you're not a pro: the Club has a wide variety of all-year leagues and cups. Also, the Club membership is composed of youngsters as well as the older generation.
The big changing rooms have sauna and steam room as well. Oh, and the gym is amazing: it's huge and the machines are of the latest models.

In the tournament's 1st round I got a very talented 15-year-old guy who literally killed me on the court. Well, he did not kill me (I lost 4/0 4/2) but you know what I mean. I had a great chat with him afterward when he shared that he's training in Mallorca at the Rafa Nadal Academy... Wow, that must be a dream!
As I headed to the bar to drink my coffee cortado, I observed all the indoor tennis and padel courts too. It's a big advantage in Cornellà that you can play even when it rains.
The bar and restaurant are really nice and you have many TVs to watch Nadal or Alcaraz after your game. The menu has a wide selection of good quality food and there are two terraces which are both semi-covered.
It felt so good that the Club was vibrant on that Saturday morning: Club members and racket-sports-lovers were exchanging stories about their last weeks. It did not really matter whether you have a tennis or padel racket in your bag: everyone seemed friendly.
